HR-BM: Automatic Plant Station

Optimized for sampling
The plant station has been optimized for the receiving of samples from external sampling devices. Within the mixer of the HR-BM the sample material is collected, mixed and homogenized. Subsequently, the desired sample amount is dosed into a pneumatic sample carrier and sent to the laboratory for further analysis.

Improved representativity
The fully automatic process station collects each taken sample in the mixer. Therefore, various spot samples can be unified to one larger total sample. To further improve representativity, the sample material is homogenized each time new material is received. When a sample is retrieved the mixer is automatically emptied and part of the whole sample amount is dosed volumetrically into the pneumatic carrier.

Flexibly adaptable to the customers' requirements
Due to low installation height and the small footprint, the HR-BM can be easily integrated into every production plant. According to the local and constructional preconditions, the residual material can be removed by gravitation.

Alternatively, an injector- and tube system (HR- FRG) is available for the active return of the residual sample material to the production flow. If only single spot samples are taken the model HR-B without mixer can be used. Next to dosing into the pneumatic carrier sample filling into a cup is available as an option.

Efficient cleaning and service
The mixer, dosing unit, and all relevant tubes are efficiently cleaned by compressed air to avoid contamination of subsequent samples. The machine is easily accessible and allows removal of the pneumatic carrier for service purposes.

HR-HSK: Manual Sending and Receiving Station

HR-HSK/L: Automatic Laboratory Station for Robot Cells

Designed for robot automation in the laboratory
The HR-HSK/L is specially designed for sending and receipt of pneumatic carriers for robot automation. All integrated machines are circularly arranged and operated by a robot in the middle.

After the arrival of the carrier in the laboratory, the robot takes it from the HR-HSK/L and forwards it to the unpacking station. Here, the sample is removed for further processing in the automation. Afterwards, the robot returns the empty carrier to the HR-HSK/L to send it back to the plant station.  If needed HR-HSK/L machines can be put outside of the robot circle for manual operation.

Flexible use
The HR-HSK/L can handle capsules for steel, iron, slag and other powder material. This allows preparation of various sample types in one robot cell.

Safe operation
The HR-HSK/L has been designed for especially safe operation. In automatic mode, the machine door is locked to prevent the manual carrier insertion. The machine design allows easy maintainability.

HR-LSP: Automatic Laboratory Station

Specially designed for automatic sample transport
The fully automatic HR-LSP dispatch and receiving station is designed to receive pneumatic carriers, open them, and place the sample automatically in a discharge tube. The capsule is then closed again and returned to the dispatch station in the plant. During emptying of the carrier, the discharge chute is covered to prevent the escape of dust.

After completion of the discharge process, the chute is cleaned by compressed air to minimize contamination of subsequent samples. The sample received can be transported onwards either on conveyor belts or by a robot. The rear of the station is open, providing a robot with direct access to the sample.

Shortened handling time, improved efficiency
Discharge of the samples within the HR-LSP saves valuable preparation time. Furthermore, the robot is released from tasks like carrier transport and inefficient periods of waiting time. This results in a significant increase in robot capacity and availability leading to improved performance especially during peak load of the automation.

Flexible operation and configuration
The station is fitted with a door on the front for manual operation. The door is equipped with a safety interlock. Capsules can thus be removed or inserted into the system manually. The automatic process is controlled by a programmable logic controller. An operator panel permits manual operation and the specification of station parameters. Stations can be erected in banks for the control of multiple lines, and require very little space.

Easy maintainability
The laboratory station HR-LSM is designed for industrial use and requires a minimum of service. It is accessible from both the front and the rear for internal maintenance and repair work.

HR-W2: Diverter for Pneumatic Transport Systems

Flexible Configuration
Two pneumatic tube lines from the plant can be united in the diverter to a single line. The direction of carrier transport is controlled by the displacement of a rotary tube within the diverter. This allows the flexible configuration of your pneumatic tube system.

Robust design
The robust design of the diverter allows the long-standing operation for years and decades without extensive maintenance. This contributes to the cost-efficient operation of the pneumatic transport system.

HR-L: Automatic Laboratory Station

Sending and receiving of various sample materials
The fully automatic HR-L laboratory dispatch and receiving station is designed for the receiving and dispatch of pneumatic tube carrier in the laboratory. The carriers can be used to transport a wide range of materials: hot or cold metal samples, granular materials, powder samples and other sample materials. When a pneumatic tube capsule is received by the fully automatic HR-L laboratory dispatch and receiving station, the capsule is opened, emptied, cleaned, closed again, and returned to the dispatching station by an integrated handling system. 

Scaleability
Up to six incoming pneumatic tube lines can be integrated into the fully automatic HR-L laboratory dispatch and receiving station, depending upon the specification. Within the HR-L several pneumatic tube lines can be operated by just one handling system. According to the requirements of the laboratory discharge and dosing systems, manual input points, as well as recovery magazines, can be integrated.

Safe operation
The HR-L fully automatic laboratory station is fitted with a programmable logic controller in order to enable it to meet in full the requirements of an automated laboratory. The fully automatic HR-L laboratory station is fully enclosed, sound-insulated, and is equipped with safety cut-outs for protection of the operating personnel. The station presents a low dust and noise impact upon the workplace, and a high level of safety. All system modules are integrated into the machine column and can be accessed easily through doors in the housing.

HR-LA: Automatic Laboratory Station

Specially designed for automatic sample transport
The fully automatic HR-LA laboratory station is designed for the automatic receiving and opening of pneumatic dispatch capsules and discharge of the sample material contained in them into a hose proportioning facility. The capsule is then closed again and returned to the dispatch station in the plant. The station can handle granular and powder material.

During emptying of the capsule, the discharge funnel is sealed in order to prevent the egress of dust. The funnel and the discharge hose facility are then cleaned automatically by blasting jets in order to prevent subsequent samples from being contaminated. If the required sample material can be dosed into a recovery sample magazine for obtaining an average sample (option).

Easy integration due to modular design
The HR-LA can be integrated into the modular system of HP-CA (automatic jaw-breaker), HP-MA (automatic vibration grinding mill) and HP-PA (automatic tablet press). The sample material proportioned into a sample cup is transported by the integral conveyor belt to the downstream modules (e.g. HP-MA, HP-PA, HP-CA).

For manual operation, the HR-LA is well accessible by a door with safety lock on the left side of the machine. By this access, pneumatic carriers can be removed or introduced.

HR-LSM: Automatic Laboratory Station

Specially designed for automatic sample transport
The fully automatic laboratory station HR-LSM is designed to receive pneumatic carriers, open them, and discharge the sample for further processing. The carrier is closed again and sent back to the sending station within the plant. The sample received can be transported onwards either on conveyor belts or by a robot. The rear of the station is open, providing a robot with direct access to the sample.

The HR-LSM handles both metal samples and powder samples (option) like slag. Various types of steel and iron samples like, e.g., lollipop, double-thickness or oval samples are received, unpacked and aligned in such a way that the robot can pick and place them for further processing.
